Monocytes

Monocytes are circulating white blood cells that play a key role in innate immune responses by sensing pathogens, phagocytosing microbes, and serving as precursors for macrophages and dendritic cells. Human primary monocytes are widely used in vitro to study antigen presentation, cytokine production, and cell-mediated immune responses in immunology and infection biology.

At PromoCell, you can select primary human CD14+ monocytes isolated from peripheral blood, together with media and reagents for controlled immune cell workflows. Our media support monocyte attachment, mononuclear cell isolation and downstream differentiation into dendritic cells or macrophages. Together, these solutions can be used for phagocytosis assays, cytokine signaling studies, and other applications in immunology and infection research.
