Renal Clearance & Function Marker Assays

There are three main sites in the body where drugs are cleared: the kidneys, liver and lungs. Of these, the kidneys play the most important role in excreting products. Consequently, the clearance of many drugs is considered to be equal to the renal excretion ability, i.e. the rate at which the kidneys can clear substances (e.g. drug metabolites) from the blood.

PromoCell offers a range of highly sensitive, HTS-compatible assays to determine renal markers and clearance (e.g. creatinine, urea, albumin, NAG).
