Reliable and senstive assays to detect mitochondrial changes associated with apoptosis. These kits employ simple-to-use, straightforward approaches using either a cationic fluorescent dye to detect a change in the mitochondrial transmembrane potential by fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry – or the translocation of cytochrome c into the cytosol, which is detected by Western blotting.
