Aquaguard
The water in an incubator or water bath is a major source of cell culture contamination, particularly with respect to mycoplasma contaminations, since mycoplasmas can survive in pure water. Aquaguard, a non-volatile disinfectant, is extremely effective at eliminating the microorganisms in water. In addition, it does not cause damage to the stainless steel of the incubator or any plastic interior, and it does not cause any skin irritation when used as recommended.
Aquaguard-1 is intended for disinfecting water in incubators, whereas Aquaguard-2 is intended for water bath disinfection.
