Human Bladder Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBdMEC)

HBdMEC are isolated from the human bladder microvasculature. The cells are routinely analyzed by immunofluorescent staining: they stain positive for CD31, von Willebrand factor   and negative for smooth muscle alpha-actin.

HBdMEC are useful in studying the role of microvascular endothelial cells in the control of inflammation, capillary exchange, tissue growth, and angiogenesis.
