Liver Function Marker Assays

Liver function tests measure various liver enzymes and other nonenzymatic
proteins and metabolites of liver metabolism. They provide useful information about liver dysfunction/disorders and damages, and are often used in clinical practice as well as for developing therapeutics and monitoring of medications. The hepatic function markers include albumin, bilirubin, aspartate aminotransferase (AST/SGOT), gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT), alanine aminotransferase (ALT/ SGPT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and hepatic steatosis (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, NAFLD).

PromoCell‘s kits for determining these liver markers contain highly sensitive, convenient and high-throughput adaptable assays for colorimetric or fluorometric measurement using multiwell plate readers.
